KAMBO STL

Hi tribe! I'm Ashley....
First things first, a brief history about myself leading up to my introduction to Kambo. I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College. After graduating in 2011, I spent almost 10 years in my nursing career working in several departments, from Surgical/Trauma ICU to postpartum to PACU (recovery room). I loved being in the business of helping others and nurturing them back to health, but after suffering with my own medical issues back in 2018, I no longer began to resonate with working in an industry that pushes pharmaceuticals and doesn't get to the root cause of medical issues. Don't get me wrong: western medicine has its place, but as I searched for answers to my own health issues I realized that our traditional, allopathic health care system is severely lacking and doesn't focus on getting to the root cause of many diseases and illnesses that so many people struggle with today. This led me to the path of "alternative" or holistic health, including ancestral medicines. This is where my story with Kambo begins...
In the fall of 2019, I traveled to Peru and spent a week in the Amazon jungle, desperately searching for help for my body, mind and soul. I was dealing with anxiety, depression, gut issues (SIBO), autoimmune issues and C-PTSD. I sat in on my first Kambo session ever and afterwards felt blissed out because, for the first time in months, I was free of all worries and anxiety. The immediate calming effect I felt following the session was unlike anything I'd ever experienced and I finally felt like myself for the first time in a long time. A year later, I found myself longing to experience the amazing effects of Kambo again and after a training course I took in Fall of 2020, I began serving myself Kambo on a regular basis. I realized that Kambo helped to rebalance my stomach issues, increase energy, and relieve chronic pain I'd been experiencing. It truly helped rebalance me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Fast forward to June 2022, I traveled to the beautiful Creede, CO and took the Kambo Practitioner training course with Tribal Detox. This training course was heavily focused on the science of Kambo and places a strong emphasis on safety for our clients. During my training, I also received my CPR certification with the American Red Cross. This was very important to me, given my background in nursing. My intention is to hold a sacred and safe container for you to experience the magic of Kambo and all the potential it may hold for you.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, comments or concerns. I look forward to working with you and co-creating this special space.
